From the South – August 2011


The month of July has been very busy for the Lodge. Several petitions have been received and successfully voted on along with accomplishment of a number of degrees. I can say that the Lodge through the direction of our Worshipful Master, Kevin Stibich has made strong strides in the achievement of brotherly Love, Relief of Truth for the Brethren of the Lodge.

We had a great stated meeting dinner in July catered by Gaby, which has helped the workload and support within the Lodge. The Steak Fry was a tremendous success which was held Friday evening, the 22nd of July. It was well attended by the Brethren, their ladies and friends of the Lodge. All had a great time!!. Shawn Bell and his staff did an excellent job of serving the steak dinner along with great entertainment. Rob Morris our newest Brother Mason handled the prep and cooking of the steaks which incidentally were cooked to perfection!! Continue reading

From the South – July 2011


June has been a great month for the Lodge.

At our Stated Meeting for June we had a caterer serve dinner and for the first time it really worked out well. The weekend of June 11th we had a Mountain Man Degree at Twin Peaks and Orange Grove shared the 3rd Degree program with Anaheim Lodge. Robert Morris received his 3rd degree and to that, we congratulate him.

Now onto July 6th. We will host a Patriotic stated meeting and dinner, no shirts and ties. Bring your July 4th attire. This is a meeting not to be missed. We will be having degree work during the month as well as several social activities. Read the Trestleboard carefully. Continue reading

From the South – June 2011


May was a MUY EXCELLENTE month at Anaheim Lodge! We started the month with our Cinco de Mayo Especial Celebration Stated Meed Dinner that was as great a dinner as it was a surprise to our cooks! A special ‘thank you’ to all hand that pitched in at the last minute to make the dinner memorable!

Our June Stated Meeting will be held on June 1st, with a terrific healthy meal served at 6:30pm, to celebrate Cancer Survivors Day. Make sure you wear your Hawaiian shirt! After dinner, there will be a great Ladies Program. It’s going to be another wonderful evening for our Lodge, make sure you bring your Lady and come by! Continue reading
