From the West – March 2019

Greetings Brethren from the West,

Communication is a key tool to any successful team when used properly and effectively. Communication has an important role in everyday life; at home, at work, in a relationship, a gathering, sports, I can go on and on. Anything you can think of, there needs to be some kind of communication. Brethren, I want to bring this up for a few reasons; one, we have been tirelessly trying to put out the Trestle Board which is our best means for communication to all of our brethren. If you are not receiving the Trestle Board or know of someone that is not either by mail or email, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and I will make sure you get added to the distribution. Two, our communications may not only come from the Trestle Board, but it could be a text, email, or phone call. Sometimes these communications are sent merely as a reminder or an update and no response is required. Please try to remember when a question or inquiry has been sent to respond in a timely manner. Communication is a vital part of having a successful lodge. Communication via email is probably our best and most effective tool, and text is best used for individuals to ask a question or get clarification back and forth between two parties. Group texts are not recommended and tend to go on far too long with no resolution.

Let’s all continue to do our part in raising the bar when it comes to communication, as we strive to make Anaheim Lodge #207 the best choice for masonic friendship and brotherly relationships!

Thanks for reading.

Fraternally,

Luciano Leon
