From the South – Feb 2017

As we look forward to this new year, I just want to take a moment to thank you all for the opportunity to serve our Lodge as Junior Warden for 2017. I look forward to the coming months and will do my absolute best to work not only with our Line of Officers, but also with all of you to make this experience and our events the best we can! I promise I’ll always have an ear ready to hear any suggestions from anyone who has an idea, so please speak up!

Our January Stated Meeting dinner turned out to be a great success with a great chicken and pasta dinner prepared by Brother Nalbandyan, and we’re looking forward to doing more fun dinners as the year goes on. Also, events! Remember on February 11th at 1:00 PM, we will be holding our Sweethearts Luncheon at the DeMolay Center. We’re going to have a great lunch, music and fellowship, so please come out and support the widows of our Brothers who have gone before us.

As we move forward together, let us all take a moment to remember the following quote, it’s one that is very important to me and has been a big inspiration in my Masonic journey. “What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal” – Albert Pike. I’m very excited to see what this year will bring, and am looking forward to the shared adventure ahead of us!
