Southern California Research Lodge

There are several Research Lodges in California under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of California. All have their own idiosyncrasies, but the most active and largest is the Southern California Research Lodge.

Its program is unique and not matched by any other research lodge in the world. It is self-described as: The user friendly education and information Lodge; over 3,000 members in every state, plus 30 foreign countries; offers their services to Lodges, Masonic Education Committeemen, District and Lodge Education Officers and Master Masons – and even Grand Lodges.

Its program consists of a 14 page monthly newsletter; the Entered Apprentice Program (books given free to EAs) and its fabulous booklist (the best in Masonry).

Membership is available to all Master Masons. Entered Apprentices and Fellowcrafts are not eligible for membership, but may become subscribers and are encouraged to do so. They receive all the benefits of full membership, except they may not attend a tyled Lodge meeting. Dues are $20.00 per year.

Fraternally,
